Supported features vary by platform. Matter integrations require a compatible controller. Home Assistant connects through MQTT. See pairing guidance.
01 Check the wiring and box Ask your installer to check the wiring, circuit and space inside the outlet box.
02 Have the outlet installed Replace the outlet following the official guide and local electrical codes.
03 Connect and set your routines Pair with InvisHome or a compatible Matter system. Then choose your controls and routines.
Turn off power at the breaker and verify it is off before any work. Follow the installation guide and local electrical codes. Have a qualified electrician help when needed. Check the box dimensions in the guide, even if the box looks standard. Installation labor is not included.
Check the wall box Minimum internal dimensions in the installation guide are 2.95 in high, 1.81 in wide and 3.15 in deep. A neutral wire and grounding are required.
In the box InvisOutlet in-wall unit, InvisDeco Pro cover, pre-wired WAGO connectors and setup guide with the Matter code.
BEFORE YOU BUY
What would you like to know? Check what it does, what it needs and what comes in the box.
What does Child Safety Lock do? It lets you lock the outlet’s power controls in the app to prevent accidental switching, similar to a washing machine’s child lock. It adds control protection alongside the tamper-resistant receptacles. It does not turn off the electrical supply.
How is InvisOutlet Pro different from a smart plug? It combines independently controlled receptacles with presence, air-quality, climate and brightness sensing, plus an adaptive nightlight. Room data can become an input to your routines.
Can I use Home Assistant? Intecular supports Home Assistant through MQTT. Matter provides another connection path for supported features. Check the integration’s available controls and sensors before planning a routine.
Does InvisOutlet clean the air? No. It measures air quality, temperature and humidity. You can use the readings to check room conditions, but it does not filter the air or provide medical advice.
Will all features work in my preferred app? Supported controls, sensors and routines vary by ecosystem and connection method. InvisHome is the companion app. Third-party Matter use needs a compatible controller. Review your system's support before buying.
What should I check before installation? Have your installer check the neutral wire, grounding, outlet-box dimensions and indoor 120V circuit. The installation guide lists the requirements. Follow local electrical codes and use a qualified electrician when needed.
What comes in the box? The InvisOutlet in-wall unit, InvisDeco Pro cover plate, pre-wired WAGO connectors and an installation guide with the Matter pairing code.
Is it a caregiver or safety-monitoring device? No. It cannot monitor someone's health, detect a fall or provide emergency lighting. Do not use it to automate critical medical equipment. Keep the supervision and safety systems your household needs.
